Background

The international Fire and Evacuation Modeling Technical Conference (FEMTC) is a regular event with a focus on topics related to Fire and Evacuation Modeling. FEMTC started as a continuation of the Annual Fire Conference. After a long history, NIST elected to stop hosting this event.

While working at NIST, Bryan Klein deeply appreciated his experience with the Annual Fire Conference. With the full support of leadership and staff at Thunderhead, and more importantly the participation of presenters and attendees, FEMTC has become an event that people from all over the world can benefit from.

In addition the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) has been a generous Co-Sponsor of these events, helping to improve global knowledge transfer. As a result, SFPE members receive a discounted ticket price for the event.
